Tuition
Tuition includes one 45-minute private lesson per week, two performance classes per semester, and one formal recital per year.
An annual registration fee of $100 is required to reserve a lesson time each school year and will go toward the cost of books, sheet music and other materials.
Tuition may be paid in full at the beginning of each semester at a 3% discount or may be paid in 10 equal monthly installments September-June. Summer tuition must be paid in one installment due by July 1 and will vary depending on the number of lessons selected.
Tuition is billed via email through My Music Staff.
Payment is due on or before the first lesson of each month if paying in installments or by the first lesson of each semester if paying by semester. A late fee of $25 will be charged if payment is not received within one week of the due date.
Payment can be made by check, cash, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.
The 2024-2025 tuition rate is $200/month or $970/semester.
Missed Lessons
Each semester will include 17 lessons scheduled over an 18-week term. This is to allow for one missed lesson per semester due to any reason such as illness of student or teacher, inclement weather or other scheduling conflicts.
Virtual lessons are available in lieu of in-person lessons in the case of mild illness, schedule conflicts, and inclement weather.
Advanced notice of cancellation is required.
Do not send students exhibiting signs of illness to lessons. They will be sent home.
If you know of a schedule conflict in advance, you may reschedule to any open lessons slots in the My Music Staff parent portal. Availability of open lesson slots is not guaranteed. Lessons must be rescheduled within 30 days of the cancelation.
There will be no make-up lessons or credits for missed lessons.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy
Please arrive on time. If students are more than 15 minutes late, the lesson will be canceled.
Parents are welcome to quietly observe lessons so long as it does not create a distraction for the student.
To ensure student safety, please pick-up students promptly after lessons. I am not available to supervise students beyond their designated lesson time.

In the case of inclement weather, an announcement will be made via email by 1:00 P.M. as to whether the studio will be open or closed. If the studio must close, a virtual lesson will be offered.
