By the end of the year, students will:
Know their way around the piano
Be able to name and play intervals up to a 6th
Be able to name notes across the grand staff.
Understand note values
Have the basic technique for non-legato, legato, two-note slurs and three-note slurs
Be comfortable singing in solfa using mi, so and la
Be able to play in time with others and listen to an ensemble while playing their part
